L’Entremetteuse, Pet Nat Syrah 2020

L’Entremetteuse is a small, craft-oriented project rooted in natural winemaking philosophy, focused on minimal intervention and expressive fruit. Winemakers behind the label favour organic or sustainably farmed vineyards, indigenous yeasts and spontaneous ferments, capturing vibrant varietal character and terroir-driven personality in approachable, lively wines. A lively pét-nat in deep ruby-cranberry hues with a fine, springy mousse. The 2020 Syrah petillant naturel opens with bright aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and subtle peppercorn spice, followed by a hint of crushed violet. On the palate, juicy red fruits and gentle savoury spice meet crisp acidity and a chalky mineral note, finishing dry, refreshing and slightly textural. A playful, food-friendly natural fizz: great with charcuterie, grilled vegetables or light tomato-based dishes.
